Albert T. Bosch (1908-2005) D-116-A

 Albert T. Bosch was a State Supreme Court Justice and a four term Congressman from Queens.

He died from natural causes on November 21, 2005 at the age of 97 in Amityville, Long Island. He was two-time national Chairman and Honorary Life Member of The Steuben Society of America. He loved to travel to Germany to visit distant cousins. He was a member for 81 years, beginning as a member of the Junior League at age 16. He was a Brooklynite who graduated from Boys High School and St. John's Law School.

He moved to Woodhaven in 1952 and was elected as a Republican to the 5th Congressional District in Central Queens which he served for eight terms.

He married Teresa Hoenig in 1963 a moved to Richmond Hill. He then started a law practice under the name of Archer & Bosch in Richmond Hill.

He won three additional terms before becoming a judge. He served as State Supreme Justice (1960-1974) until retiring in 1974 at age 66.

 He then moved to Jamaica Estates and later to Whiting, New Jersey. He moved to Amityville in 1995 after the death of his wife at the age of 59.
