Rosendo Ricketts ( 1961-2004) B Section 252 D
 
Rosendo R. Rickets was born in Bocas del Toro Island, Republic of Panama 
and was a New York  City Police Officer for 14 years. He had lived in Brooklyn 
with his wife of seven years, Wanda I. Ricketts. He has a son, Matthew S.  
Ricketts. He was in the US Army Reserve for 23 years as Sergeant  
First  Class. He served in Bosnia and Operation Enduing Freedom. He  
served an 11 month tour of duty in Iraq.  He was a member of the 310th  
Military Police Battalion, headquartered in Uniondale. His unit was  
preparing to return to civilian life. He was 43 years old, just  
returning to the United States, a week after his duty when he died in  
a car accident. His car crashed into a home in the Fort Dix area in  
New Jersey during a rainy evening in March 2004.
