HISTORICAL TREASURE

A historical treasure trove, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Maple Grove’s headstones and monuments give us glimpses into the lives of notables and ne’er-do-wells, leaders and the lowly, the famous and infamous. Each year, local volunteers put on the dress and adopt the personae of our most noted residents, from musicians to inventors to titans of industry, and tell their stories during Maple Grove’s always popular “Spirits Alive” event, one of the many programs we offer to link the past and the present. HORTICULTURAL MASTERPIECE

Ours is a landscape of exquisite beauty, with rolling hills, lush plantings, a lovely sparkling lake, specimen trees and a color palette that changes and delights with every season. Visitors who take the self-guided “Walking Tour” are entertained by a symphony of bird calls while they marvel at the richness and variety of the lush landscape throughout Maple Grove’s 65 acres.

The Center at Maple Grove Cemetery is a modern, multi-use facility designed as a place to gather and celebrate the lives of loved ones, as well as to serve our community by offering spaces for meetings, seminars, and educational activities. In addition, The Center is also home to the beautifully appointed Memorial Room, with glass-front niches.
